06 - Sprinkle dried oregano and, if preferred, a pinch of red pepper flakes atop the toppings.

# Helpful Hints:

01 -
  • It actually delivers that satisfying crunch you chase with every bite, without the fussing.
  • The whole thing comes together while your oven preheats, so you're eating in twenty minutes flat.
  • You can load it however you're feeling that day, and it still works beautifully.
02 -
  • The parchment paper is not just a convenience, it's insurance against the tortilla sticking and tearing when you move it to the hot sheet.
  • Baking directly on the oven rack does create an extra crispy bottom, but the cheese and toppings can drip, so only do this if you're watching and have a sheet below to catch anything.
03 -
  • Don't let the oven preheat without the baking sheet inside, because that bottom crispness depends on direct contact with something already hot.
  • If your tortillas are particularly thick or you prefer them extra crispy, bake for the full ten minutes and don't worry about overshooting.
